Unknown Caller

Unknown Caller is a short web experience where the user can dial any 7 numbers to "call" someone. After dialing, someone will pick up, but they will probably not have a very happy response. You're prank calling them, afterall.

This project was made as a typical website using HTML/CSS and JavaScript. I used OpenAI's API for chat completions to generate the responses from the callers over the phone. The chat is displayed on the screen, while another call to OpenAI's API for audio speech reads the generated response aloud as if someone actually picked up your call. The responses are made to answer a call from someone on the other end prank calling them with just heavy breathing.

I find that while the call takes awhile to load, the responses are hilariously aggravated about your prank call.
